Johanna (age 8 1/2): Mom, when I grow up I am going to be a teacher, an art teacher really. Actually maybe a writer, or an illustrator. I will be a writer and an illustrator! Mom, how do you get your book published?

Me: I do not know...

Johanna: I know! WHen I am an adult and allowed to be on Facebook, I will write my story on Facebook and publisher will find it and will publish it on line!


Abby (age 6): Mom, an owl says "hooo" like this (spelling) h.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o. But (spelling) w.h.o is "who are you".
