1. When you drive 12 hours south to escape cold and snow, it can still be cold and snowy.

9. When children have to share a bed, it takes twice as long to fall asleep, but the giggles are worth listening to.
10. Always, when you have an Abby, bring 3 times as many clothes as you think you might need.
