So far there have been a few note worthy events on our trip. As soon as we sat down, we started chatting with the people behind us. It turns out this guy is a therapist in Baltimore who works with traumatized children! Pretty cool. He is on his way to India to visit his wife. While waiting to go see her, he grew his hair long for a sing of mourning. He is now completely bald to celebrate his reunion. Josh…No pressure, but it sounds pretty romantic! (Actually this guy was a little crazy… ) Thank goodness he moved seats so he could sleep in some empty spots in the back of the plane.
The other notable event involved dinner. Jill decided to have her salad and opened the little salad packet to squirt on her 4 pieces of lettuce. The packet looks just like a ketchup packet. She gave it a good squeeze and it flew all over the isle and the seat of the guy next to her. Of course we laughed like children about this for a while causing me to choke on my bread and then on my water I was using to help with the bread. Oh, and it is also important to note here that Jill walked into the bathroom while a man was in mid-stream. Really, is it that hard to lock the door?
Now that I think about it, I think we got moved to the back of the plane for that, not because of the broken t.v.
So the flight attendants are preparing for landing and we will have 5 hours in the middle of the night to kill in the airport. Then, OH GLORY, another 8 hour flight, with a fuel stop in Sudan.
