Shenyang

We took her shopping for her first new clothes, her first trip to the mall,
Her first time picking out what she wanted.
What a night!

Shenyang is a large city, much older than Beijing. It reminds me a little more of NYC, maybe “SOHO” lots of little shops, people walking, bikes, car horns… The difference is the people walking are wearing face masks and scarves to protect from the pollution. The bike riders are pulling wagons with lettuce and green onions the size of me. The cars can maneuver a traffic circle like a pros

We are staying in the lap of luxury. Seriously there is no way to even describe this hotel. We have an entry way. Not an entry way/closet/place to store suitcases… A real entry way. We have a walk in closet, we have a marble type shower and huge bath tub. The sound for the t.v. feeds into the bathroom so you can hear about Sarah Palin when putting on make up. We have a little sitting room by the window. We are on the 19^th floor and have an incredible view of the city. Out of the other side of our hotel though are horrible slums.

Here are a few pictures I took, the one I have not gotten yet is the biggest statue of Chairman Mao in all of China. Yes, this is less than a block away.
